I wonder sometimes if Christians are the laziest in getting through disagreements because they just hide behind a scripture wall to support their truth and shut down communication? They stamp the approval of their interpretation onto the situation which allows them to dismiss the other and just claim that what God has told them is final. In reality, that’s a closed door to inner healing because if they were to turn inward and figure out through the Holy Spirit, why it is they have this hard truth that feels intolerant to others, freedom from religion that armors with defending oneself could eradicate a need to be right. It’s not the stance of supporting one’s faith that makes it easy to dismiss another’s view, it’s the religious spirit that tires the conversation through pride.
