If you can put aside the person and look at the circumstance, it will afford you an opportunity to break through what is oppressive. To fight against any system that is founded on hierarchy, you have to address the demons running the show behind the spiritual scenes.  It will save you a ton of time and wasted aggravation once you battle for strength from a place of supernatural wisdom.  If you see that a boss is manipulating your schedule or fabricating stories against you, or if people generally like you in the beginning but eventually grow cold and distant, the issue isn’t with them personally. They are pointing out the attack, the literal avenue that the enemy wants to take you out in. In these instances reputation will be given to you without permission through evil devices of those wanting to knock you down a few pegs. So ask yourself why? Not from a perspective of what you are doing wrong, but what are you doing that is right?

The situation is revealing themes, that you get pushed out subtly after an investment of energy or commitment to a task, so if you’re attacked by boss man it is because of your natural ability to lead. If your promised to go with the pastor into schools but then it gets revoked while putting you onto sabbatical, it points to your ability to lead and accomplish what he has done. If you appear incompetent by someone or told you are stupid, negated in a way that makes you feel like you have done something wrong, the enemy could be hovering a familiar spirit over your head that labeled you as a kid.

The limitations that rise up after an attack has been launched, are key, because they identify the opposite stance of what God sees. If you were consistently being attacked in your knees and feet which mobilize you, then the attack points to hindering your ability to walk forward, hence a boundary is placed on your progression. Why? Because the goal is to create a roadblock to your purpose or personal growth. For as many times as you come up against the same giant, that indicates the very real spiritual battle that is wanting to destroy you once and for all, but Gods strength through you isn’t letting that happen.

In response, you can’t go into human power for an answer. But the clues indicate anointing is in leadership, standing above the rest, ability to make an impact that the devil doesn’t want you to prosper in; people with more power, status or money will question your decisions and attempt to hinder your God given dreams because they bow down to a religious mandate they don’t even recognize.  Most successful businesses detest affiliation with Christianity because the claim to sweat, dedication and hard work solidifies their self-made reputation, but rigid rules that govern belief and behavior is the crux of their reputation which is indeed religious.

Because the human condition needs connection in order to survive, it has learned to manipulate the people it holds as valuable so cooperation in the workplace, organization or system, can function like a well-oiled machine; this paradigm explains business but most are ignorant to it defining the religious spirit.  When the end-goal is to profit from a design, idea or plan by causing people to compete for the best outcome, you are describing a force set in motion by religion.  So many people believe that legalism, strictness, or denomination is associated with religiosity but those terms exemplify levels of control that our forefathers implemented when money was being discussed.  “Europe allowed the first Pilgrims to venture out of their territory onto American soil for freedom of faith, but they had to pay for the exchange with money earned through irrigation of the new land.  That price was costly for their new-found property as famine, cold weather and disease wiped out a majority of the population.  Nonetheless, colonies cultivated religious practices based on a standard of purity that we would label today as a denomination called the Puritan’s”.  All in all, people purchased their freedom through a business transaction that birthed the religious spirit which became the chief principality of America.  And all persons born on American soil, have the same rights to worship freely and receive deliverance from this ruling spirit, yet few realize they are obstructed from success because of it.

Human beings don’t have the greatest reputation for seeking purpose outside of a profit unless we are threatened to lose relationship of greater investment.  Our European pioneers were faced with both challenges when they migrated from their home land.  Ever since the beginning of colonization, people have been doing the bidding for a man, or conglomerate “in charge”, while allotted permissible control over their investment of time, energy and pay-off.  That perpetuates a state of “doing” instead of “being”, which religiously controls our behavior.  That is good business, but terrible relationship building.  And that is why it is termed the religious spirit, yet goes undetected by today’s Christians.  The law of business respects the idea greatly, but unfortunately the leadership of most churches are oblivious to its demands.

So boss man sets the stage for your performance to come under surveillance. It doesn’t matter if you uphold impeccable work ethic and the next guy comes in late, slacks the whole time on the clock and makes negligent mistakes; if he isn’t called to the things you are called to, demonic attack will let him alone. The demons are more interested in stealing opportunity from you, killing your motivation and destroying your faith through the process. It has too because a demons only drive is to steal, kill and destroy in whatever attribute it manifests. They all lie, but they all still have to answer to a chief and ruling demon that calls all the shots.

The religious spirit is its own entity and will not leave when a chief spirit does because of its priority on our land.  Some of the worst employees at your job could be spiritually tenured if their cooperation with leadership is aligned with spiritual law.  Maybe you are seen as a threat because of the anointing you carry and that brings out the need for someone who has strived to obtain their place of importance, want to remove anyone who questions it, overshadows it or competes with it. There are a million ways that a personal dynamic can be tweaked and much of it has to do with life experiences clashing. When the apostle Paul speaks of doing the very things he doesn’t want to do and not being able to do the things he wants, he is shedding light on a spiritual oppression that needs deliverance. In fact, later in scripture he receives it when scales are removed from his eyes, a same metaphor that we can cling to and apply today in our own lives.

Not looking at the person, name the spiritual battle based on its attributes. In such case the battle is a power play, making one person act accordingly to appease the other in authority or a repurchasing will result. So a lack of finances creates fear, lack of peace triggers taking matters into your own hands which is control, and reputation whether subtly or abruptly suggested as being questionable will stir up unworthiness, anger and confusion. You can pick and choose your own cocktail of emotions and responses because the two who are really against each other, are truly only coming up against the other persons spirit.

I was delivered of control so in situations like this where mine seems to be revoked, the battle would be for my trust through the storm and knowing that God sees what I am going through so I don’t have to take back the reigns. By recognizing that I have been here before I am tapping into the spiritual reality that my breakthrough is around the corner. Why? Because demons stupidly overplay their hand so when five storms erupt simultaneously, you know they have congregated together for impactful distraction.  There lies the clue that peace and surrender are on the other side of satan and his minions stirring up unbelief in Gods power.  They can only act out their name, so a jealous spirit can only manifest as jealousy, an abusive Spirit looks like abuse. That is the reason they have to recruit others who function differently to dog-pile and overwhelm people emotionally.  None of them will ever reveal their true identities and all will have to fall in line behind the strongman, but when thrown a bone, they will charge after any opportunity to pounce on a believer.

Hence people are hosts, carriers of demonic assignments if you will, and they will thwart the Christian from forging ahead toward Gods call at any cost. So if I have been delivered of the chief and ruling control spirit but confront others with control who exercise authority over me, I choose to change the responses I easily then have to deal with the emotional response as that rises up on me, like, how will I pay my bills, what else can I do, where else can I go? Why is this always happening to me? What doesn’t the enemy want me to achieve? Why is the attack always here, in my ability to remain a good worker? Because only through honoring those who are dishonorable, I gain character that will last when I gain promotion to lead.  Nothing is wasted and strategy will unfold in the spiritual realm to manifest in my life when I continue to serve Christ in the face of opposition.  It is where all great leaders have gone before and where I will have to follow suit, surrender of control to gain heavenly empowerment that is un-revocable.
