Politics is positioned to fail us

One month shy of this prophecy last year, we have indeed escalated into further political control and the minimizing of rights.  Let us not assume that disturbances are to sway votes due to it being an election year because man is only able to control population with the threat of problems and then falsifying solutions.  The times have accelerated into Biblical prophecies where we turn from the government for help and toward heaven. Politics has always been upon Jesus’ shoulders and has always positioned itself against freedom of the people.  Yet failure to complete our tasks on this earth are lies meant to dismantle hope for our future. The amount of manifested glory that is going to be revealed, will far surpass the turbulence of tornados, storms, pestilence and propaganda because the spiritual war has already been won.  As the darkness grows, how much more will the light.

  1. Hi, Angie! This is a courageous statement. In my judgment, politics as you characterize it is about denial of rights to another. It is about passing judgment that should be reserved to the Most High.

I wish that Jesus had not said “love your enemy.” The proper spirit is held up in other passages, and is more along the lines of “seek to heal any who are beset by the spirit of sin.” An example would be his answer to those that criticized his ministry to the tax collectors and prostitutes: “It is not the well that need a doctor, but the sick.”

I like your skyscraper metaphor, but seek to clarify the nature in which we “go deep.” For myself it is always into the “peace that surpasses all understanding.” It is the certainty that in allowing evil to express itself, love draws to it all that appreciate its protection.

My mother, in an attempt to get me to be practical with my decisions, had me watch “A Man for All Seasons.” It backfired in this beautiful scene. Sir Moore is in London Tower, in a damp cell, and his family comes for the only visit allowed during his imprisonment. His daughter has sworn to change his mind, and tries with “Father, you know that in any just world, rather than being brought so low, you would have been raised to the heights for all the you have already done. So does it not stand to reason…” and then Moore interrupts her, catching her in an embrace, and says “But Meg, in the end it is not a matter of reason. It is a matter of love.”

There are too many of us that seek to be God of our own world – to avoid suffering. But to live in this world, as stated in Revelation (“They did not love life so much as to flee from death”), is to suffer the wound of separation from love. Any attempt to secure comfort or security in its absence is a delusion. Thus, as Samuel warned, politics is an empty effort, allowed by God only as a means of educating us regarding its impotence. (Revelation again: “The beast [tyrannical government] was allowed its authority to serve God’s purpose.”)

Thank you for standing tall, sister!
